Intermediate Ballet Summer Intensive

For ages 10-15 & Current Level 3 dancers

(Must have a minimum of 2 years of current ballet training)

July 7 – 11, 2025

The Intermediate Dance Intensive if for dancers ages 10-15 looking to take their ballet and dance training to the next level.  Students in this level must have a minum of 2+ years of current ballet training.  Gulf Coast Dancenter’s outstanding faculty teaches daily classes in ballet and pointe preparation/pointe fundamentals; students diversify their training with classes in jazz, contemporary, stretch/conditioning, dance history, and variations. Families are invited into the studio at the end of the week session to view their dancers’ progress.

Who:

• • Current GCD students – Level 3
  • Non-GCD students – ages 10-15 with a minimum of 2+ years of current ballet training.

Tuition:

• • $485 – 30 hours of dance training with our exceptional faculty.
  • $100 non-refundable deposit required at time of enrollment to reserve spot in intensive.
  • Balance is due June 1, 2024.
  • If enrolling after June 1st full tuition will be due at time of enrollment.

Schedule:

• • Studio will be open at 8:45am for dancers arrival.
  • 9-11am – Ballet
  • 11-12pm – Pre-pointe
  • 12-1pm – Lunch, dancers must pack a lunch 
  • 1-2pm – Variations
  • 2-3pm – Contemporary
  • 3-4pm – Jazz
  • Be sure to pack snacks to eat between classes as dancers must refuel their bodies, so please send dancers with AM and PM snack.

Informal Showcase:

• • Friday, July 11th at 4-4:45pm
  • Friends and family are welcome, free event
