Intermediate Dance Intensive
The Intermediate Dance Intensive is designed for dancers ages 10–15 who are ready to take their training to the next level. This program is ideal for students with a minimum of two years of consistent ballet experience, providing a focused and immersive environment that balances challenge with support.
Over the course of this week-long intensive, dancers receive 30 hours of instruction in ballet, pointe preparation, jazz, contemporary, variations, stretch/conditioning, and dance history. At Gulf Coast Dancenter, we don’t just teach steps—we teach how to train, helping students build strength, alignment, musicality, and artistic awareness.
This program gives dancers the opportunity to grow with confidence, refine their technique, and experience the joy of movement in a community that inspires them to reach higher. Families are invited to witness their child’s progress at the end of the week, celebrating both the hard work and the artistry cultivated in just a few days.
Program Details:
- Dates: July 6-10, 2026
- Location: Gulf Coast Dancenter
- Tuition: $485 (includes a $100 non-refundable deposit)
- Schedule: Classes run daily from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a lunch break. Students must bring their own lunch and snacks.
- Showcase: An informal in-studio performance will be held on Friday, July 10, from 4:00 to 4:45 PM for family and friends.
Enrollment is limited. A deposit is required to secure a spot, with the remaining balance due by July 1, 2026. If enrolling after July 1st, full tuition is due at the time of registration.
